I started Words at Play Speech Pathology with the vision of creating a space where communication support feels authentic, creative, and inclusive. I wanted families and schools to experience speech therapy that celebrates neurodiversity, honours each child’s individuality, and builds on their unique strengths and interests. Words at Play was born from my belief that meaningful progress happens when therapy feels like play, when relationships come first, and when every voice is supported to be heard and understood, both in learning and in life.
Experience and Training
With years of experience across private practice, primary, and secondary school settings, I’ve had the privilege of supporting children and young people with diverse communication needs at every stage of their educational journey. My work spans both independent and government schools, including direct involvement with the Department of Education and collaboration with local schools across North West Victoria. This breadth of experience has helped me build strong partnerships with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical, evidence-based, and neurodiversity-affirming support that empowers students to thrive.
